Adopting a Cat or Kitten from Jenny’s Cat House
At Jenny’s Cat House, we make sure every cat and kitten is fully prepared before they leave us for their forever home.
Adult Cats
All adult cats will be microchipped, neutered and fully vaccinated before they are ready for adoption.
Kittens
Kittens will be at least 8 weeks old, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination before leaving us.
Their second vaccination will be due four weeks later, and they will need to be neutered once they reach 16 weeks of age or 2kg in weight.

Our Simple Adoption Process
Here’s how you can welcome a rescue cat into your family.
1 - Browse Our Cats
View our adorable cats and kittens looking for their forever homes.
2 - Complete Our Adoption
Fill out our short application which helps us learn about your home and lifestyle.
Don’t worry-completing the form doesn’t commit you to adoption. It simply helps us find the best match for both you and the cat.
3 - We Review Your Application
We’ll review your application to ensure the cat you’re interested in is a good match for your home and lifestyle.
4 - Home Visit
We’ll arrange a quick home visit to make sure everything is safe and suitable for a rescue cat. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions and for us to offer helpful advice.
5 - Meet Your Cat
Get to know your chosen cat and make sure it’s ap perfect fit.
6 - Welcome Them Home
Finally. Your new companion comes home to a loving family.
Currently we are extremely busy with rescues, rehoming and adoptions. We very much appreciate your interest in adopting from us and usually get around to replying to everyone within a couple of days, but when it is this busy its not always our first priority. If you don’t hear from us in a few days please feel free to send us a gentle reminder by email (at the bottom of the page) and we will try our best to reply when we can.
