Lost Your Cat?

If your cat has gone missing, don’t panic — many cats stay close to home and are found within a short distance.

What to do immediately:

  • Search nearby — check sheds, garages, bushes, and hiding spots

  • Call their name softly (especially at dusk or dawn)

  • Put out their bedding or used litter tray to guide them home

  • Ask neighbours to check outbuildings

Spread the word quickly:

  • Post in local Facebook groups and community pages

  • Put up posters in your area

  • Contact local vets and rescue centres

📩 Send us your details and we’ll help share your cat:

  • Clear photo

  • Description (colour, markings, age)

  • Last seen location

  • Your contact details

Found a Cat?

Thank you for helping — you could be the reason a cat gets home safely.

First steps:

  • Check if the cat is injured — contact a vet if needed

  • Offer food and water if safe to do so

  • Look for a collar or ID tag

🔍 Check for a microchip:
Any vet can scan for free — this is often the fastest way to locate the owner.

Please don’t assume a cat is stray just because:

  • They are outside

  • They look well-fed

  • They visit regularly

Many cats roam and have loving homes nearby.

If the cat isn’t claimed straight away, we can guide you on next steps, including safe temporary care and helping locate the owner.

📩 Send us details so we can help:

  • Clear photo

  • Location found (postcode if possible)

  • Date and time

  • Behaviour or condition
